Alone In The Dark

Christian Slater in his typical role of playing Jack Nicholson's bastard child. I love Slater, honestly, however, I don't expect much from his movies. This one was no different and had some good parts and some bad parts. Interesting story line, but got a little hokey with the special effects, especially the CGI crap. Ancient race of people found a gateway to "the other side" which has scary monsters in it. A guy starts experimenting on orphans to merge the two. Then the monsters come back. Not the worst movie I've seen, but I've seen way better.
