Angel Guts

Japanese movie about rape. When I say it's about rape, that's pretty much all that happens in this movie. A reporter is doing a story on rape victims and gets way in over her head. It's get a little freaky towards the end, but not in a really bad way. I just wanted something else to happen besides all the rape stuff. It's just a weird lesson in culture since reporters can straight up manhandle their interviewees and it's perfectly acceptable for males to be pigs and "take what they want". That's two movies in a row where guys are NOT shown in the best light. I'm going to have to watch some stupid promise keepers movie or something to make up for this – oh wait, Promise Keepers are bigger douche bags than most people. My mistake. Don't get me started. Anyway the name of the film comes from someone saying this nurse looked like an angel in her nurse's uniform. Then they knife her open to see her guts. I would only recommend this if you're a fan of Japanese slasher films or Takashi Miike. It's twisted like that.
