Calvaire (The Ordeal)

This is a Belgian movie (I think) that is described on the cover as "Somewhere between Psycho, Deliverance, And The Passion of The Christ." Guy's truck breaks down and he finds creepy hotel (psycho part) to stay in. Everyone for miles is mentally challenged and into bestiality and killin' and stuff (also dancing guy-on-guy) (deliverance part). Guy gets all tied up and dressed as a woman and violated and beat up and shaved, also nailed to some boards so he quits running away (passion o' the christ part – I guess). This movie is not for the faint of heart. There's lots of stuff you aren't going to find in a standard run of the mill slasher films. In typical foreign film fashion, a little light on plot, but I have become used to it. If you like messed up, you'll like this one. One of the best and weirdest scenes I have EVER seen in a movie involves a cow, some shotguns a'blastin', blood, butt pirate'n, and retarded folks fallin' all over each other.
