City of God

Brazilian movie about street life in the slums. Very good and very graphic. 'Based on a true story, this movie shows the seedy underbelly of the drug and gun world of the poorer parts of Brazil. And amazingly enough, part of the world actually pulls together into something beneficial for a short while. Very intense and very bloody, but for a foreign film, it's one of the best I've seen.
