Dying of Laughter (Muertos de Risa)

This Spanish film (all subtitled) is about a comedy act that becomes mega famous in Spain and self-destructs. The film is actually pretty funny, to be honest. I didn't expect much, but was pleasantly surprised. The chubby guy freezes up on stage so the ladies man slaps him in the face – it becomes their gimmick. Soon, people are lining up to slap the chubby guy. They become paranoid about what the other one is doing in their social life, so the chubby guy sets up sound systems with the sound of sex playing through the speakers and hires dancing girls so the ladies man thinks he is partying round the clock.
