Everything Is Illuminated

Excellent movie about a Jewish kid that goes to the Ukraine and Russia to find his ancestors. It's mostly a foreign film with a hilarious Ukranian narrator, and it's actually quote touching. It also has a deranged do named Sammy Davis Jr Jr. If your lady likes foreign films, this one is almost a tear jerker. It's very good. Don't watch the deleted scenes or it will turn a very serious movie into a Borat-style moronic spoof. Though there is a hot dwarf dancing around in lingerie – hard to beat.
