Ira & Abby
independent film about a guy that is basically depressed. He goes to a gym to "change his life" and he finds this random girl who proposes to him. He's got nothing going for him, so he agrees. The rest of the movie is about him and her meeting with therapists and it gets pretty funny. It's not zany or anything like that, but it IS convoluted. It's a pretty good movie to be honest. I really liked it. I laughed at a couple of points, and you actually feel bad for the girl, since she's now married to a neurotic moron. It has a ton of good actors in it: Jason Alexander, Fred Willard, and a couple of others I can't remember right now – help me Coach. It's worth a view for sure. It ends up being anti-wedding, so be prepared for that if you watch it with your lady (or thai lady-boy).
