GOW: The Killer

This is a documentary from the 30’s on Cannibals and Head Hunters, which the narrator assures us are completely different, although they will both kill you. This troop of men goes to the Fiji islands and there about looking for lost tribes of people. I’m assuming it’s real footage since it seems rather homemade. But the censors have cut out any people eating or violence in the tribe. The narrator is a super pompous white man who comments on how savage these people are and how the British have had to come numerous times to the island to shoot the villagers they suspect have eaten their recon parties. It’s kind of sad in an odd way, but that’s just how documentaries on indigenous tribes were shot back in the day.
