The Protector

Martial arts movie with Muay Thai fighting, rather than my usual kung fu. I still am not a fan of this style of fighting in movies, but I know it's effective in UFC, so I won't knock it. So the stupid thing about this movie is it's got some background story of elephants – really NOT needed in this movie at all. But some of the special effects with the elephants are so hokey, it's incredible. Bad CGI, bad paper maiche elephant bones, and bad white-guy wrestlers. My nephew was all keyed up about Tony Jaa being in this movie, but I didn't see the reason why. Could have been anyone and I still wouldn't have cared for it.
